REGULATORY ASPECTS OF BEE POLLEN SAFETY IN GLOBAL FOOD SYSTEMS

Synopsis

The integration of apicultural products into global food systems is accompanied by increasing requirements for their quality and safety, which underscores the relevance of regulatory aspects in the control of bee pollen loads. As a promising ingredient in functional nutrition, pollen is increasingly utilized in the production of food products and dietary supplements, necessitating clear regulatory frameworks at both national and international levels. Ensuring its safety is a key prerequisite for protecting consumer health and supporting the sustainable development of the apicultural products market.
