Author Guidelines

Authors are invited to make a submission to this press. Those submissions considered to be a good fit will be sent for peer review before determining whether they will be accepted or rejected.

Before making a submission, authors are responsible for obtaining permission to publish any material included with the submission, such as photos, documents and datasets. All authors identified on the submission must consent to be identified as an author. Where appropriate, research should be approved by an appropriate ethics committee in accordance with the legal requirements of the study's country.

An editor may desk reject a submission if it does not meet minimum standards of quality. Before submitting, please ensure that the scope and outline of the book are structured and articulated properly. The title should be concise and the abstract should be able to stand on its own. This will increase the likelihood of reviewers agreeing to review the book. When you're satisfied that your submission meets this standard, please follow the checklist below to prepare your submission.

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • This submission meets the requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • This submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another press for consideration.
  • All references have been checked for accuracy and completeness.
  • All tables and figures have been numbered and labeled.
  • Permission has been obtained to publish all photos, datasets and other material provided with this submission.

General Provisions

This Privacy Policy governs the collection, storage, processing, and protection of personal data of users who interact with the website of the Ukrainian Science Hub Publishing House (hereinafter referred to as the Publishing House).

  • ORCID iD and/or ResearcherID;

  • files uploaded during manuscript submission.

  • processing scholarly manuscripts (peer review, editorial handling, and publication);

  • communication with authors, reviewers, editors, and other contributors;

  • providing technical support to users;

  • informing users about new issues, events, announcements, and updates to editorial policies;

  • website analytics and service improvement.

Disclosure of Personal Data to Third Parties

We do not disclose personal data to third parties, except in the following cases:

  • with the explicit consent of the data subject;

  • where disclosure is required by applicable law;

  • where technically necessary for publishing services (e.g., hosting providers, DOI registration agencies such as Crossref, or similar scholarly infrastructure providers).

All third-party service providers with whom we cooperate are required to comply with appropriate confidentiality and data protection standards.

Data Storage and Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data, including:

  • secure storage of data on protected servers;

  • restricted access limited to authorized Publishing House personnel;

  • SSL/TLS encryption for all transmitted data.

Users' Rights

Every user has the right to:

  • obtain information about the personal data processed by the Publishing House;

  • request access to their personal data;

  • request correction, restriction of processing, or deletion of their personal data;

  • withdraw consent to data processing where processing is based on consent;

  • lodge a complaint with the competent personal data protection authority.
